WHAT TO EXPECT

New to church or looking to try Peace Mennonite Community Church out for the first time? We know that church can be intimidating, but don't worry. You will feel right at home!

  • How do I get there?
Peace Community Church is located at 13601 East Alameda Avenue, Aurora, CO 80012.
  • Where should I park?
There is multiple parking areas on the Peace Community Church campus and you are welcome to park in any of them. If you have children we would recommend you park in the lot that is closest to the church. There is also overflow/available parking in the grass lot.
  • What should I wear?
We’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. Just dress how you feel comfortable and you’ll fit right in.
  • What's available for my kids?
We have an excellent kid’s experience that your child will love. There is an area designated "kids check-in" at the back of the foyer. Check-in starts at 10:15 am. We have multiple age appropriate classrooms for ages 3-12 years of age. Our Kids Ministry Sunday experience is Christ centered and incredibly safe. All of our Kids “serve team” members are background checked. Currently we are not offering nursery (ages 0-2 year) due to COVID and welcome your children to sit with you in the service instead.
  • How about my older children?
At this time we are not offering for students over the age of 12. We hope to change that soon! Your students are welcome to join us for a simple engaging message during our main service. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach us at office@peacecolorado.com.
  • Where do I go? & What should I expect in a service?
Our services are held in the main sanctuary. You will be greeted by our Hospitality Serve Team that will keep a respectful distance. There are hand sanitizers available for those who would like to sanitize upon entering. It is recommend/required (by the state of Colorado) that you wear a mask inside the building and social distance 6 feet apart from one another. The exceptions are onstage activities like leading worship and giving the message. If you forget your mask at home we do have disposable masks available. After entering we ask that you promptly find a seat and try to limit activity in the sanctuary as much as possible. When finding a seat, the sanctuary chairs are spaced out to remain distant by 6 feet. We understand that many people come as families so we have sections to accommodate families to sit together. You will soon discover that our main desire is for you to experience the life-changing presence of Jesus Christ through music and teaching.
  • How do I get more information about the church and sermon?
